How to Use This Tool

What do the different syringe sizes mean? +
U-100 insulin syringes come in different volume capacities. A 100u syringe holds exactly 1.0mL of liquid. A 50u syringe holds 0.5mL, and a 30u holds 0.3mL. Selecting the correct size ensures the visual markings match the physical syringe in your hand.
Are the minor tick lines exact? +
Yes. We've programmed the visualizer to mirror standard U-100 markings. For example, a 100u syringe has a minor line for every 2 units, while a 50u syringe has a minor line for every 1 unit.
What if my visualizer says "Volume Exceeds Syringe"? +
If your calculated dose requires drawing more volume than your selected syringe can hold, you must either select a larger capacity syringe (e.g., move from 50u to 100u) or reconstitute your vial with less bacteriostatic water to create a higher concentration.
